LABOR CONGRATULATES AFL ON MULTICULTURAL ROUND

Labor congratulates the Australian Football League (AFL) on its 2014 Multicultural Round.

The AFL’s “Many Cultures, One Game” initiative, which kicks off this weekend, demonstrates its strong commitment to building a more inclusive and cohesive Australia.

The AFL has a proud history of recognising and celebrating Australia’s rich diversity and this is reflected in its players, staff and fans.

Labor is proud of the role multiculturalism plays in Australian life and will always work to foster a more inclusive and harmonious society.
