Mobile coverage in The Ponds is still not good enough, and I know there is more work to do.

But I’m excited to share that after our local campaign, two new mobile towers are coming to boost connectivity in The Ponds!

Following ongoing discussions with Blacktown Council and industry – we’ve secured in-principle agreement for towers at Ken Birdsey Park in Schofields and Douglas Reserve in The Ponds.

These locations reflect the feedback that you provided in my community survey last year. The new towers will boost local coverage and capacity, including around The Ponds High School and Riverbank Public School.

This follows the important first step achieved by our campaign with the construction of the new mobile tower in Jonas Bradley Park.

Since construction in 2023, this tower has already supported more than 13 million calls. But I will not stop fighting until every home in The Ponds has the access to the mobile coverage you deserve.
