Expressions of Interest for the Stronger Communities Programme Round 9 are now open for organisations based in Greenway.
Our community is made stronger through our local groups and individuals, which is why I am thrilled to announce that Round 9 of the Albanese Government’s Stronger Communities Programme is now open!
The Programme will support the Government to fund local infrastructure and essential community equipment in Greenway to ensure our local community is an even better place to live.
Examples of projects which may be funded under the programme include:
- installation of a new war memorial that commemorates Australians killed or injured in war
- implementing energy-efficient lighting in public spaces to reduce carbon footprint
- installation of solar panels at a local community centre
- constructing a disability access ramp or lift at a local sporting facility
- upgrading facilities at a community theatre to support local performing arts
- installation of a native garden to educate the community and celebrate Indigenous Australians and their culture.
