Our growing community deserves world class health care.
That’s why a re-elected Federal Labor Government will deliver $120 million to the NSW Government to ensure Rouse Hill Hospital opens with full maternity services.
This builds on the work we have already done to ensure the hospital will open with an Emergency Department.
It also builds on the work we have already done to make local healthcare more affordable and accessible including:
- A Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in our local area, meaning you don’t have to wait in hospital in case of a minor emergency
- The largest investment in Medicare’s history to help more people see a GP for free Cheaper prescriptions, reducing the price from $42.50 to a maximum of $25
- Historic investment in women’s health including delivering an endometriosis clinic in Rouse Hill
Michelle and Labor will also invest $220 million to upgrade Old Windsor Road, enabling transport to and from the new Rouse Hill Hospital.
