I extend my warmest wishes to everyone observing Ramadan.

Ramadan is a period of deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and generosity. It invites us to pause, look inward, and reconnect with the values of compassion and service to others. As families and communities come together, we are reminded of the importance of gratitude and the power of acts of kindness.

Here in Australia, the Muslim community continues to enrich our society in countless ways. In Greenway and right across North West Sydney, I see firsthand how the Muslim community’s contributions – through local businesses, community work, and charity – strengthens the fabric of our society.

We live in a country where diversity is embraced, and where people of many backgrounds and faiths stand side by side. Ramadan is a reminder of the values that bring us together, and of the unity we build through mutual respect and understanding.

I wish everyone observing a peaceful and meaningful month of prayer, reflection, and connection with loved ones.
